New Image Salon, Kelowna hair studio

Kelowna Hair Studio

I love a locally owned Kelowna hair studio. In the Okanagan, I love seeing how local creatives, and wedding industry professionals are building each other up to create community over competition. Creating connections within the community is so important to establishing strong relationships and generating business for one another. I have been a customer at New Image Kelowna for just over a year now. Kennedy Koren is a hairstylist and salon owner who continues to grow her knowledge and education! I specifically go see Kennedy for my colour and cut and I am always in love with it every time. She has recently become a Certified Colour Educator for Aveda! New Image Salon is not just a salon, but a family-owned and operated business that is positively involved and integrated in the community. New Image Salon has three locations within the Kelowna area. Two in West Kelowna and their newest location right beside the Delta Grand Hotel, can you say perfect location for ?!! The Kelowna hair studio recently won the BC Hair & Beauty Awards Okanagan Hair Salon of the Year 2018. I always know that every time I visit New Image Salon it will be a quality experience; I really love the fact that they are an Aveda salon which is a tried and trusted brand.

Support Local

I am passionate about supporting local businesses and being involved in networking events throughout the Okanagan. Each time I am at a networking event Sydney and Kennedy are always at them as representatives of New Image Salon. Aside from their killer social media game (Go Sydney!) seeing them at networking events really puts a face to the brand. Kennedy and Sydney are entrepreneurs after my own heart who are willing to do what it takes to build their brand, their business and put the client’s interest first. Not only does Sydney run the social media for New Image she also has recently launched a social media management company called Okanagan Social Styling where she helps brands make their presence in the online community.

2nd Birthday Bash!

I attended New Image Salon’s Second Birthday a few weeks back and they truly went all out! I was greeted by Sydney and Kennedy with a glass of Rose’ (umm, yes please). They even had little boxes to fill with candy placed beside the cutest little balloons. As an event planner, I know the importance that a positive impression makes when hosting an event. They even provided each attendee with a gift bag which featured product testers from Aveda and even a barresoul trial voucher! I love seeing New Image support other businesses within the Okanagan and that they collaborate to create awesome little giveaways at their events! This event was a direct reflection of New Image Kelowna’s dedication and professionalism to their clients, the industry and the community. Not only has the New Image staff continued to meet my expectations each visit they have also become friends, networking buddies, and industry co-workers. I have always been someone who has never consistently stayed with a salon due to convenience and location, but I have been going to New Image Kelowna for just over a year now! As New Image Kelowna is located right near the Delta Grand Hotel after your appointment you can go grab a drink with your fresh hair at Oak and Cru.

As I work in the wedding industry it is so nice to know that I can potentially work with friends as vendors and know that their work will be reliable, professional and we can have some fun working together! I can’t recommend New Image Salon enough and I will continue to support them and support every event they throw!
